Tips and Tricks on Crystal Reports 5.0

How to have different footers between the last page of a report and earlier pages.
For example if you have a purchase order which lasts over 3 pages. In this case the first and the second do not need the report footer with e.g. the paying conditions or the acceptance signatures. But what they need is a line to finish the site.

SOLUTION:

If you use horizontal lines in the page footer there will be a line at the end of the first and second page. However there will be also a second

 line on the third page under the report footer.

 To solve this problem we suggest to use a box. A box can extend across sections. (see Fig.3)

In this way Crystal Reports will automatically close each page with a line at the buttom (see Fig.1) even though there is not a line in the detailed section.
